Welcome to Shag Dance Lessons.com, the website for upstate South Carolina couple Christina and Keith Smith. Christina and Keith conduct Shag instructional classes in the upstate for every level and every age group. They also offers private lessons as well as specialized dance training programs such as bride/groom private lessons & wedding party workshops.  They are available for demos & workshops for corporate functions, social parties & organizations, birthday parties, shag dance parties, and other similar events.      

Christina and Keith have been dancing Shag together for over 10 years and earned thier way  the Professional Level in the Competitive Shaggers Association competing in dance contests around the US.  Christina and Keith have won a share of dance contests over their years of study and have been finalists in the National Shag Dance Championships for four consecutive years. Logging thousands of miles to Ocean Drive SC, Atlanta, and numerous dance events over the years, they have had the chance to study Shag first hand from the some of the 'Masters of the Dance'...including extended private study with Charlie Womble and Jackie McGee--unarguably the most prolific Shag dancers of all time.

Christina and Keith are focused on teaching shag for social dancing and we work hard to cater to each students dance goals...they can teach you just the basics or help you learn more intricate steps and patterns to dance together.  Regardless, of whether you want to just learn how to dance when you go out or have visions of continuing into more serious study, each dance begins with a single step--take that first step and sign up for lessons now!
