We are glad you stopped by.

We are Christina and Keith Smith.  We live in Spartanburg, SC and teach Shag dance lessons to students around the upstate of South Carolina and western North Carolina.

For about a decade, we danced almost every weekend & usually a couple of nights during the week. We also competed in many contests and national shag competitions.  We spent a lot of time together dancing.  Then in 2005, we had our very own junior shagger appear on the scene--Benjamin.  When Ben arrived, we gladly adjusted our dance card and traded competition dancing & required travel for family time. 

While we don't compete much anymore, we still love to social dance and enjoy teaching others.  So, please check out our site--and then join us for private or group lessons, schedule us for a workshop with your group or club, or even have us help you learn to shag for your wedding or other event.
